Chris Douglas

Chris Douglas, CricketerChris Ryan McCallan Douglas, born 20 November 1989 in Bermuda, is an international cricketer who recently (March 2009) broke his thumb whilst playing in South Africa.

He is a left-hand batsman who is also bowls useful off-breaks and is the youngest member of the Bermuda squad. After enduring mixed fortunes for Bermuda at 2008’s Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia, Douglas burst onto the senior national scene by hitting a polished half-century against West Indies in Toronto.

It was expected that Douglas would be a key player as Bermuda bid to qualify for the 2011 World Cup on the sub-continent, having made their World Cup debut in the Caribbean in 2007.

Chris is a nephew of National Coach, Allan Douglas.
