The Douglas mountain range, four miles south of Killeen in southwestern
Bell County (at 31°02' N, 97°45' W), runs southeast to northwest for two
miles, with elevations ranging from 980 to 1,069 feet above sea level. At
its highest elevation the range rises 150 feet above nearby State Highway
195.
