Douglas Architects

This page is a Stub - you can help improve it

  • John Douglas of Pinkerton, late Architect in Leith - 20 June 1778
  • Campbell Douglas, 1828-1910
  • John Douglas. 1830-1911
  • Alan Douglas, 1918-1974
  • Alan G Douglas
  • John Douglas, of Perthshire who designed the parish school at Dull and possibly Amulree Church (if not by John D. of Leith). The architect was possibly John Douglas who also designed the church at Killin in 1743 and was working at Taymouth Castle in 1746. A reference is made in the Breadalbane Papers to a "Mr Douglas" working at Amulree in 1750. This indicates that he may be one and the same as John Douglas, of  Pinkerton.
  • James Douglas, 1823-1894
