Paolo Antonio Scotti Douglas, Marchese di Cambià, Conte di Sarmato was the son of
Paolo Emilio Scotti Douglas, Conte di Sarmato, Patrizio di Piacenza, (d. May, 1585) and Domitilla Rangoni (d1581).

His 3x great-grandfather was Alberto Scotti Douglas, Conte di Vigoleno (1380 or 1390-1461)
 

He married Barbara Anguissola.

Timeline



Paolo Antonio Scotti fought in Flanders under the orders of Alessandro Farnese.
In 1585, He succeeded his father Paolo Emilio in his leadership of men-at-arms with the Serenissima.
He has command of the infantry. He was initially appointed governor of Verona and, subsequently, of Bergamo.
In the service of the Duke of Savoy. He is named Marquis of Cambià.
In 1611, Paolo Antonio Scotti died in Crema in the middle of January. His body was transported to Piacenza to be buried in the family tomb in the church of San Giovanni in Canale.
