- Herman Estel Wall was born and attended school in Pulaski County,Kentucky according to his birth delayed certificate; Herman providedan afffidavit by his father and a family witness A.C. Tartar, plus hisPulaski County school record of 1923-24. Herman was an avid fishermanand he enjoyed deer hunting as well with other family members inIndiana.
Over the years, Herman and Helen have traveled to Kentucky to visitwith the family there, and vice versa. The familes have all kept inclose touch with each other.
It is noted that part of the family uses the "s" at the end of thesurname, and part of the family do not. However, they are all of thesame family source.
OBITUARY: "HERMAN WALL-- Judson, Herman E. Wall, 86, of Judson, diedat 2:46 a.m. Feb. 24, 2003, in the emergency room of West Centralcommunity Hospital in Clinton. Born Feb. 4, 1917, in Eubank, Ky., hewas the son of the late Willie Wall and Pearlie Suber Wall. He was aretired truck driver for Levy Ward in South Bend and Kominski.Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Helen L. Elkins Wall, whom hemarried Dec. 25, 1942, in Marshall; three daughters, Claudia JeanWooden of Coatsville, Linda Fisher of Judson and Shirley Horvath ofJudson; one brother, Bill Long of Eubank, Ky.; two sisters, DessieHampton of Covington, Ky., and Essie Chaney of Science Hill, Ky.; sixgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held at11 a.m. Thursday at Gooch Funeral Home in Rockville with Pastor GeneWalls officiating. Burial will be in Wolfe Creek Cemetery south ofWallace.
