(Research):William Shawyer 1811-1860 was for many years the coachman for Rev Douglas and lived in Funtington. He was married to Louisa (nee Oakley) Shawyer and had 7 children whilst working for the Reverend.

Stair married Maria Edith Parish on 15th Feb 1831. Maria (daughter of Sir Woodbine Parish, KCH and Amelia Morse) was born about 1804; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
