ORION -- Asher B. Love, 78, died at 12:10 this morning at his home inOrion after a short illness. Funeral will be at 2 Saturday afternoonat the Orion Methodist Church. The Rev. Gideon Carlson will officiateand burial will be in Western Cemetery. Calls may be made Fridayafternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Orion. Mr. Lovewas born May 1, 1876, near Orion and had lived in the community allhis life. He was a retired farmer. His parents were James and AnnaBeatty Love. On Dec. 14, 1922, he married Sarah Trego of Orion. Hebelonged to the Orion Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow;three sisters, Mrs. Emma Pearce of Elmhurst, Mrs. Etta Chase of Orionand Mrs. Mabel Edstedt of River Forest; and several nieces andnephews. His parents and a brother preceded him in death."
