While I've seen it as Gardner and, mostly, Gardiner, I've never seen itas Gaxiner. They had a son whose first name is listed as Gardner ineverything I've been able to find, but, in various manuscripts, hismother is listed as Anna Louisa Gardiner. I've only seen "Louise" acouple of times.
Family papers and sources in St Louis Missouri: Most list her as Anna,one has her as Hannah. All but one has her middle name as Louisa and allbut one spell her last name as Gardiner. Because their son's name isspelled Gardner in everything I can find, I make a very small reservationthat Gardner might be the proper spelling. I list her as Anna LouisaGardiner in all of my paperwork."Anna married Charles H Semple on 23 Oct 1873. Charles (son of Alexander Bonner Semple and Elizabeth McCombs) was born in Mar 1844; and died.
