  He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Briscoe, of Bourn Hall, Bourn, co. Cambridge [U.K., 1910] on 28 February 1960. He was Director of Aerodromes, Ministry of Aviation between 1961 and 1966.1 He was Director of Operations for BAA in 1966.
