- "OBITUARY OF GEORGIA CLORE-WAVELAND INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPER, THURSDAY,APRIL 28, 1938: The funeral of Mrs. Georgia Clore, who died on Fridaymorning was held at the Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon incharge of Rev. Frederick Cromer. The casket was born by T.M. Garland,Romulus Boyd, Phillip Douglas, Geo. Spencer, Terry Fulwider, BillyMachledt, A.C. Deere, Claude Smith, Andrew Durham, Harley Teague andDavid Corder. The flowers were carried by, Mrs. T.N. Johnson, Mrs.J.D. Fisher, Mrs. Betty Kritz, Mrs. Marie Milligan and Mrs. Machledt.Mrs. Frank Burrien played a program of sacred music. Burial in MapleGrove (Ridge) Cemetery. Mrs. Georgia Clore, was born Dec. 3, 1855 atTroy, Missouri to Joseph and Ann Withrow, and died at her home inWaveland, April 22, 1938, at the age of 82 years, 4 mo., and 19 days.She was married Oct. 11, 1876 to Salmon Clore and immediately came toWaveland, where they resided on their farm near, "The Shades StatePark" for many years. After retiring from active work, they came totheir present home. Mrs. Clore, was a member of the PresbyterianChurch and took active part. She suffered a fractured hip seven yearsago and has been confined to home. She is survived by a sister, Mrs.Ella Clore, four nieces, Mrs. Emma Jacks, Mrs. Ann West and Mrs. AnnaCreech and one nephew Withrow Clore. Mr. Clore died in 1915.Relatives: Mr. and Mrs. Tom Withrow, Hal Clore, Withrow Clore, Mrs.Gail Clore, Doren Clore, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Servies, Salmon Serviesand Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cooper." The Will of the late Mrs. Georgia Clore has been filed for probate.Among those named to share Mrs. Clore's property are a sister, Mrs.Ella Clore, who was bequeathed $10, 000.00, and six nieces andnephews, Georgia Servies, Emma Jacks, Anna West, Bettie Hagey, WithrowClore and Harry Clore, who were left $5,000.00 Each. A $5,000.00Trust Fund was established for another niece, Anna Creech. TheWaveland Presbyterian Church was given $500.00 After the payments ofspecial requests the remainder of the Estate Will be distributed tolegal heirs. Romulus Boyd of Russellville is Executor."
