- Ray H. Jones, 65, of 1029 North Seventh street, died at 2:50 a. m Monday in Scott nursing home He had been a patient there a short time and in failing health about four years. Born at West Point, where he was reared, he lived in the Lafayette area most of his life except for 10 years spent in Canada. He was married to Helen M REDINBO in 1920. Mr. Jones was a machinist for the Monon railroad for many years until his retirement July 23, 1960. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists, Local 181, the Interstate Association of Retired Railway Employees No. 3, and the Monon Benefit association. He served with the Canadian army for two years in World war I. Surviving with the widow is a brother, Clyde O. Jones of Lafayette.
