Luther M Douglas Buried in Hillcrest Following Services
Luther M Douglas, a resident of Deer Lodge for the past 20 years, whodied in a local hospital July 26, was buried in the family plot inHillcrest cemetery last week following services conducted at theChristian Church with Rev Francis Nickerson officiating.
Pall bearers were Ole Berg, J.B. Brink, Arthur Murphy, Robert Inman,A.E. Cole and Bill Whitney.
Mr Douglas was born in Crawfordsville, Ind, 80 years ago. During hislife in Deer Lodge, he won the respect and friendship of many people.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Emma Douglas, four daughters,Mrs R.V. Coons of Seattle, Mrs H.W. Porter of Bremerton, Mrs R.M.Romine of Deer Lodge and Mrs Lee Roberts of Rathdrum, Idaho; and foursons, Charles of Chappell, Neb, Jesse and Russell of Beach N.D. andElmer of Bremerton, WA."
