  Moline Dispatch Newspaper, Rock Island County, Illinois MRS. CLARA LOVE OF ORION PASSES Dies in Home of Daughter at Age 72; Funeral to Be Held Wednesday. Orion, Nov. 18 (1940). -- Mrs. Clara Love, 72, lifetime resident ofOrion and vicinity, died at 9:15 this morning in the home of adaughter, Mrs. Harry Erickson, one and a half miles northwest ofOrion. She had been bedfast five days. Funeral services will beconducted at 2 Wednesday afternoon in the Erickson home with the Rev.C.A. Litchfield of Coal Valley officiating. Burial will be in WesternCemetery. The body was brought to the Anderson-Swanson funeral home.Born Sept. 24, 1868, in Rock Island County, Mrs. Love was the daughterof Benjamin and Lena Stevens. She married Fred Love on Feb. 20, 1895. Her husband died on October 26 of this year. Survivors are threedaughters, Mrs. Florence Erickson and Mrs. Decil Malmen of Orion andMrs. Gertrude Johnson of Osco; two sons, Edwin of Moline and Harold ofOrion; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs.Flora Carlson of Orion, One son preceded her in death."
