"David (Sir) DUNBAR, was granted extensive land, including Cumnock, byhis brother George, the tenth Earl of Dunbar. He died before 1421 and wassucceeded by his son."

"David (Sir)s parents were Patrick (Sir) Dunbar and Isabella Randolph.Patrick (Sir) and Isabella had 4 sons: (1) George, who became 10th Earlof Dunbar, (2) John, who in 1372, was created Earl of Moray, (3) Patrick(Sir) Dunbar of Bele, and (4) David, who was granted Cumnock and otherlands by his brother George, the 10th Earl. SP 3:261 and CP 4:508-510agree with the foregoing."
