    Services for Samuel Force, 88, of Rt. 2, Bradford will be conducted at3 pm Saturday in the Painter Creek Church of the Brethern. Burial willbe in Gettysburg Cemetery.
    Mr. Force died at 12:10 am Thursday at his residence. He had been infailing health a year and a half. He and his wife, Osa, observed their65th weddin anniversary March 10 of this year.
    He was a native and lifelong resident of Darke County, and had livedin the Bradford area 38 years,
    Surviving is his wife, Osa; four sons, Raymond and Charles, both ofRt. 2, Greenville; Don of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Edwin of Troy; fivedaughters, Mrs. Adrian (Bonnie) Laberman, Englewood; Mrs. Ralph Haber(Mabel); Mrs. David (Virginia) Kendell, Xenia; Mrs. Ray (Luella)Niesley, and Mrs. Donald Flory (Frances), both of Pleasant Hill.; 36grandchildren, 28 grea-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren.

    Called Away - Mrs. Frances Pepple passes away after six weeks'illness. - She was a well known resident of Rossburg, Ohio, where shelived all her life.
    Mrs. Franes Pepple, a well known and honored resident of Rossburg, O.,passed away this morning. She became ill six weeks ago but seemed torecover. Then she suffered a relapse and she died this morning athalf-past five o'clock.
    Mrs. Pepple was past eighty years of age and she was born in thelocality where she passed away and where she had lived all of herlife.
    Her maiden name was Miss Frances Pearson. She was married to CalvinPepple, who preceded her to the better land some five or six yearsago. Mrs. Pepple was a good Christian woman, a faithful wife and agood mother. She was the mother of Mrs. C. A. Wasson of west of thecity and the grandmother of Gail Wasson, of this city.
    She is survived by the following children: Earl Pepple and Mrs. AnnaKimerman, of Everett, Wash.; J. J. Pepple, of Williston, N. D.; Mrs.Ona Force, Gettysburg, O.; Mrs. Ola Brewster, Ansonia, O.; FinleyPepple, of home, and Mrs. C. A. Wasson, of the city. The funeralarrangements will be made later.
