    Described in his great grandson's will as 'of Forres'.

    (Research):...Gordon, minister of Drainie, who died on 15th February, 1823. They had at least three daughters. The Rev. Lewis Gordon was a native of Forres, being born there on 24th June, 1747, the sixth son of William Gordon, merchant in Forres.
