    GENEALOGICAL NOTES FROM THE LIBERTY TRIBUNE
    21 APR 1899
    "Smithville- died at his home in Paradise, Apr 6th, Robert Summers,
    aged 60 years, four months and one day. He was born in Morgan Co, MO, 5
    Dec 183[8], coming to Clay Co at 21. Married to Sarah A Douglas 4 Apr
    1864. Father of 12, 9 of whom are left."

    "Died at his home, in Paradise, April 6, Robert Summers, aged 60 years,
    four months and one day. "Uncle Bob" was born in Morgan County, Mo.,
    December 5, 183[8], coming to Clay county at the age of 21. He was
    married to Sarah A. Douglas April 4, 1864. Uncle Bob was the father of
    twelve children, nine of whom are left to mourn his death. He had been a
    patient sufferer, of kidney disease, for some few months past. Funeral
    services conducted by Bro. J. N. Hulse at the grave"
