  1. 1.  Lucinda was born about 1818 in Steuben, NY; died on 8 Jan 1896.

    Notes:

    From Bryan Cass:

This information was found in First Baptist Church of Watkins, NY records. Found by Pat R. from the Montour Falls Library. Lucinda was one of the first members of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson (Watkins), organized by Rev. Thomas S. Sheardown, 2 Oct 1846 (or is this supposed to be 1845?). She was received as a member of the church on 2 Oct 1845.

She moved to town of Dix in 1842, according to 1855 NY State Census. Moses must have died before 1850 because his wife Lucinda is alone, living with her brother-in-law Abram Cass in 1850. Also, Moses' wife Lucinda is mentioned as "Lucinda Cass widow of my brother Moses Cass" in Cynthia Anne (Cass) Freer's will, dated 29 Sep 1852.

Family/Spouse: Moses Cass. Moses (son of Josiah Case and Eunice French) died before 1850. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Children:
    1. Mary E. Cass was born on 15 Oct 1837 in Chemung, NY; died on 11 Jan 1859 in Watkins, Schuyler Co., NY; was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Jefferson (Watkins Glen), Chemung Co., NY.

Generation: 2
