  1. 1.  Priscilla [Tracy] Branch (daughter of Samuel Tracy and Esther [Richmond] Tracy); died on 5 Oct 1813 in Whiting, VT..

    Notes:

    ? John Branch died at his brothers Abel and Shubal on March 5, 1812, and his wife, Priscilla, died also in Whiting, on Oct. 5, 1813. They were buried in a small burying ground in the south part of Whiting, but their bodies were removed in 1929, by John Branch of St. Albans, Vermont to the Whiting Cemetary, where the original stones, carefully repaired, were erected. The following inscriptions are on a single large slab, placed horizontally:
    PriscillaJohn Branch
    wife ofDied Mar. 5, 1812
    James Noblein the 83 year
    former relict ofof his age.
    John Branch
    Died Oct. 5, 1813
    in her 74 year.

    Why loving friends indulge that tear,
    Why trembling view my dark abode?
    Though you with me must moulder here
    Yet faith can wing the soul to God.
    All six daughter married at or near Whiting, and all were left widows. None married again.

    Died:

    Priscilla married John Branch, (6) on 5 Jan 1758. John (son of John Branch, (5) and Martha [Williams] Branch) was born on 7 Oct 1729 in Branch Hill, Preston, Conn.; died on 5 Mar 1812 in Whiting, VT.. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Children:
    1. Priscilla [Branch] Tracy and died.
    2. Parthena [Branch] Keeler died in Hamond, New York.
    3. Abel Branch, (2) was born on 8 Oct 1758; died in 1800.
    4. Lucy [Branch] Parks was born on 9 Oct 1760; and died.
    5. Esther [Branch] Babcock was born on 8 Mar 1763; and died.
    6. Simeon Branch was born on 19 Jun 1765; died in 1777.
    7. Levina [Branch] Walker was born on 8 Aug 1767; and died.
    8. John Branch, (7) was born on 7 Oct 1769; died in 1839.
    9. Shubal Branch, (2) was born on 24 Jul 1772 in Pittsfield, Mass.; died on 2 Jan 1815 in Richmond, VT..
    10. Lydia [Branch] Hall was born in 1777; and died.
