    Notes:

    Death: February 7th (?1856), at Limerick, Anne, wife of Colonel Robert Percy Douglas, Assistant Adjutant-general at Head-quarters, eldest son of General Sir Howard Douglas, Bart., G.CJB.? She was the only daughter of Lieut.-Colonel G. H. Duckworth, 48th Foot (who was killed at Albuera), only son of the late Admiral Sir J. T. Duckworth, Bart., G.C.B., by his first mar riage.

    Anne married Sir Robert Percy (4th Baronet of Carr) Douglas in 1840. Robert (son of General Sir Howard (3rd Baronet of Carr) Douglas, KSC, CB, FRS and Anne Dundas) was born on 29 Aug 1805; died on 30 Sep 1891. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    4. Abel S Douglas was born about 1846 in Torquay, Devon, England; and died.

    (Research):Probably: Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth, 1st Baronet, GCB (9 February 1747 (Gregorian Calendar) ? 31 August 1817 in Plymouth, England) was a British naval officer, serving during the American War of Independence, the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, as the Governor of Newfoundland during the War of 1812, and a member of the British House of Commons during his semi-retirement. One of the least known of the Age of Sail admirals of the Royal Navy, Duckworth, a vicar's son, achieved much in a naval career that began at the age of 11.
