Mrs. Mary Case, wife of C. Y. Skinner of Lava, died in Brooklyn, at the M.E. Hospital where she underwent an operation, Feb. 27, 1915 aged 51 years. The funeral was held at the M.C. church at Narrowsburg Thursday. Interment in the Narrowsburg cemetery by undertaker N. Rasmussen. She is survived by her husband, three sons and one daughter, Mrs. Lillie Williams of Corning, and Willis, Arlo and Raymond at home; also by one sister, Mrs. Anna Cassidy of Jersey City, and three brothers, Ezra, Judson and George of Welcome Lake, PA.
Mary married Cyrenous Skinner in 1884. Cyrenous (son of Henry Skinner) was born about 1857 in Tusten, Sullivan Co., NY; died about 9 Sep 1921 in Lava, Sullivan Co., NY; was buried in Narrowsburg, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
