Gregan de Crawford (b c1080, a 1128)
(or Alan) may have been one of those who accompanied King David on hisreturn to Scotland around 1127. He is reported to have saved the life ofReginald, son of the Earl of Richmond in 1127 (presumably this wasReginald la Zusche) whilst he or another 'Alan of Crawford' is saidaround this time to have married Bertha, daughter of Conan, Duke ofBrittany, possibly the Conon (1138-1171) who married Margaret, sister ofDavid, Earl of Huntingdon, and who was half-brother of Reginald laZusche.
1. Reginald de Crawfurd (d 1146)
Some sources show this Galfridus to be son rather than son-in-law ofSwane Thorson of Crawford.
m. daughter of Swane Thorson of Crawford @ above
Alan married Bertha De Cornouailles of Brittany in 1135. Bertha (daughter of Conan III 'Le Gros' Duke of Brittany and Matilda\Maud of England) died before 1167. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
Alan married Alain I De La Zouche about 1137. Alain (son of Geoffroy De Porho?t and Havise) died in 1190. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

20. | Ascelin Gouel De Perceval 'Lupus' Comte De Yve (10.Robert3, 3.Agnes2, 1.Judith1) died before 1119. Notes:
"The early ancestries of these families are reported differently betweenTCP and BE1883. BE1883 shows the Lovels of Titchmarsh as a branch ofthose of Kary (Castle Cary) but TCP, which appears to rely on aparticular 13th century document, shows them as from different roots. Weshow both versions, starting with that given by BE1883."

Sop I have shown both lines as his ancestors. Robert of Breherval andYvery & Robert d'Ivry are both possibly his father.
Family/Spouse: Isabella De Breteuil. Isabella (daughter of William Comte De Breteuil) and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
