  1. 1.  Alfred Douglas was born on 25 Feb 1852 in Ickleton, Cambridgeshire, England; died on 19 Jan 1938 in South Perth, Western Australia; was buried in Meth GA 21.

    Notes:

    Albany records suggest he "ran" the Albany Quarantine Station for a time.
    Buried with Emmaline, plot Methodist GA #21, Karrakatta. Stone shows her
    name as Emily Ellen, not Emmaline.
    Alfred Douglas(s) travelled back to England in 1887, to be present atan
    auction of (supposedly) the family's household furniture and household
    contents, of the house known as Victoria Villa, near Muttford Bridge,Oulton.
    (Near Lowestoft).
    However, Cambridgeshire Burial Index 1801 - 1837 shows a Joseph Douglas, age
    unkn, buried 1831 at Hinxton Cemetary.
