    WILBURTA C. DEXTER

    NARROWSBURG: Wilburta C. Dexter of Narrowsburg, a homemaker and lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at home. She was 93.

    Daughter of Wilbur and Isabel Bullivant Cornwell, she was in Tylertown. She was the widow of Ralph Dexter who died in May, 2001.

    She was a graduate of Davis Elkins College in Elkins, WV.

    She was a member of the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aid Society; the Town of Cochecton Democratic Club, the Women?s Club of Cochecton and the Cochecton Preservation Society.

    Survivors include two sons, James of Herkimer and William and wife Jennie of Lava; two daughters, Barbara Myer and husband Clifford of Milford, PA and Doris Roda and husband Warren of Ottisville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

    She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Eileen, and a daughter-in-law, Elsie.

    Services were held at the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church in Lake Huntington. The Rev. Jacob Wielhouwer officiated. Burial was in Overlook Cemetery in Damascus.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church, Lake Huntington, NY 12752.

    Wilburta married Ralph William Dexter on 5 Oct 1929. Ralph (son of Charles L. Dexter and Barbara Bebous Brinkman) was born on 20 Dec 1910 in Cochecton, Sullivan Co., NY; died on 7 May 2001. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
