    LST-362 was en route Bizerte, Tunisia - Gibraltar - Plymouth - Southampton carrying 11 Churchill tanks and 118 army personnel when she was attacked and sunk about 370 miles southwest of Cape Clear, an island off the south-west coast of County Cork in Ireland.
