- David lived in Cinga County, New York, in 1824. They spoke Dutch until their children were old enough to attend school, then they spoke both Dutch and English. In 1830 David moved to Atica, Wyoming County, New York. In 1844 they moved to Kanosia, Wisconsin, but one year later moved to Alto, Fondulac County, Wisconsin. David lived here the remainder of his life. He is buried southwest of Alto.
