SELMER, TN-Funeral services for Mr. James Paul (J.P.) Aylor, Sr., age90, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday December 4, 2007 atShackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. Burial will follow at WyattCemetery in Hornsby, TN. Mr. Aylor died Sunday December 2, 2007 atMcNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, TN. Mr. Aylor was a retiredPlant foreman who was employed for 35 years at south Central bell. Hewas a member of the first Baptist church in Selmer, TN, member of thePioneers of America, and he also served in the Army. Preceding him indeath was his mother, Bertha Aylor; father, George Aylor; threesisters, May Horwith, Allie Aylor and Georgia Pentecost and twobrothers, David Aylor and John Aylor. Surviving relatives include hiswife of 61 years, Gladys Aylor; daughter, Anne Keefe and husbandKenneth of Germantown, TN; son Paul Aylor and wife Jennifer ofHornsby, TN and one grandchild, Sydni Kathryn Aylor.
