- GUSTAFSSON, ALISON MARGARET, 82, of Orlando passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2003. She was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Alison was born in Glasgow, Scotland where she received her basic education before attending St. Denis Girls, College in Edinburgh, graduating with a degree in Home Economics. She spent four years in Canada during which time she met her beloved husband Nils. They were married in 1954 in Montreal and afterwards settled in Bloomington, IN. In 1961 they moved to Orlando, FL, and soon Alison became active in the Conway Garden Club, The Cosmopolitan Club where she was made an Honorary Member. She was one of the founders of the Florida Tropical Weavers Guild where she also was made an Honorary Member. Alison was one of the Charter members of the Hagar Viking Club. She is survived by her husband Nils of Orlando; and nieces Alison Wilson and Joan Robinson of Ontario, Canada; nephew Simon Munro Kerr of Jura, Scotland, and niece Alison Foster of England. A memorial service will be held at 10AM, on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando with internment at a later date in Gothenburg, Sweden.
