Waveland
Mrs. Grace B. Allen, 78, of Waveland, died at 8 p.m. Monday in CulverHospital at Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health threeyears. Mrs. Allen spent most of her life in this community and was amember of the Byron Wesley Methodist Church. Born March 26, 1888, inParke County, she was a daughter of Howard and Sarah Thomas Clore. Shewas married May 10, 1905 to Forest Allen. They wer emarried atRockville.
Survivors include the husband, a son, Leslie of Waveland; twodaugthers, Mrs. Frank Gardner and Mrs. Roy Pittman both of Waveland;two brothers, Roy Hutson of Rockville and Ared Hutson of Veedersburg;four sisters, Mrs. Goldie Bryant of Waynetown; Mrs. Flossie Floyd ofMarshall; Mrs. Sylvia Spraggs of Kingman and Mrs. Daisey Ratcliff ofHillsboro; for grandchildren and six greats.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Machledt &Servies Funeral Home here. Rev. Walter Porter and Rev. MichaelWilliams will officiate. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Card ofThanks
