Married Sarah Hubbard, dau. of William of Greenwich. She owned the Covenant at Fairfield Church, 31 Mar. 1695, and the first
four children were bapt. same date.

conveyed, as a reserve for life was made to him by Thomas Bennett,
father to Ebenezer.
Bennett, John, s. of Thomas.
Born at Fairfield by 1670. Called Jr. until his uncle John left Fairfield. As John, Jr., he was one of the petitioners for church at
Stratfield 1691, but did not affiliate with it. His wife Phebe renewed Covenant at Fairfield Church, 10 Mar. 1695.
Inv. of John of Compo (Westport), 24 May 1713. Adm'n granted 2 Dec. 1713 to James Bennett.
Married Phebe (???). She m. (2) by end of 1713. Gideon Allen.

idiot, and in 1722 the Legislature gave power to Gideon Allen to
sell her realty; on 23 Jan. 1723/4, Joseph Patchen having kept her
nine months and agreed with the town to support her until she
reached 18 yrs. to save her mother and the town from charge, Allen
conveyed to Patchen all her right to lands from her father's estate.

Born at Fairfield, 6 Aug. 1675, d. at Ridgefield, 27 July 1725. He settled at "Bennetts Farms," on the Ridgefield-Danbury line.
Married Deborah Adams, dau. of Abraham.
Adm'n granted, 10 Jan. 1726, to widow Deborah. Samuel Bennett of Danbury chose mother Deborah guardian, 2 Apr. 1726, and
she was appointed guardian to Abraham and Deborah.
Deborah of Danbury conveyed, 23 Apr. 1731, to Nathan Adams land in Fairfield from father Abraham Adams, dec'd. In 1748
Deborah conveyed to Abiah wife of "my son Samuel" land at Bennetts Farms.

Peter Bennett and Elizabeth his wife of New Fairfield conveyed 1750 to son John, land formerly Israel Rowland, Sr.'s; and a few
days later John sold to Charles Duncomb the same land, specifying that it belonged to his gr. father Israel Rowland, dec'd.
