"Angus Cameron settled, after the American Revolution, on lot 16, Conc.5, Cornwall Township, and his son, Donald Cameron (d. 1822), marriedMargaret Fraser (her father lived on Lot 15, 5, Cornwall), Donald and hiswife later settling on Lot 6, Conc. 4, Roxborough Township (just north ofCornwall Township). I do not know who the father of this Angus Cameron(Lot 16-5 Cornwall) was.
Donald Cameron (d 1822), the son of Angus Cameron, Lot 16-5, Cornwall,had a son, Angus Cameron who married Mary MacMillan and settled on Lot17, Conc. 2, Finch Township.

Note;2nd concession,Finch Stormont,Ontario(form the front) The area infront of Concession Glengarry County was irregular and broken areafronting the St.Lawrence River-surveyers called the area on a map "TheBroken Front"local residents shortened this to "the front"as a way toidentify the area as the Lots had Lots numbers but did not haveconcession numbers. The people from Farren's Point (now under water forthe seaway) were referred to as living on the front.

It has been recently learned that John-Angus Cameron and Sarah McMillanwere married by Rev.Isaac Purvis (or Purkis) PresbyterianMinister,Osnabrucks,Otario.Both John and Sarah were "of Finch"at thattime.Unfortunately no parents were named in the marriage record.
The range of Possible birth year runs from 1817 to 1824-25. It isunlikely thatt a precise birth date (or even a birth year) will surfacefor Sarah McMillan Cameron..Sarah died May 4,1887,F, age 63, wife of Jno.Cameron. where born Finch, Consumption 15 yrs. physician Dr.Stark, filedby widow D.MacIntosh, Finch,registered June 6,1887, religion Presbyterian.
