Alice Southworth was born in 1646. She died on 5 Mar 1718/19 at LittleCompton, RI.

"The hero of the war for Plymouth was Capt. Benjamin Church, son ofRichard Church and his wife, Elizabeth, the daughter of Mayflowerpassenger Richard Warren. Church had early distinguished himself infighting at Swansea, at the Pease Field near Saconnet, in the Great SwampFight, and in guerrilla-type operations throughout Plymouth Colony.Church understood the Indians, had been on quite friendly terms with thembefore the war, and during the war was able to make good use of them,sometimes being able to get them to change sides almost instantly."
