Notes |
- Elizabeth ID I56699 was part of the family of another John & Helen Mcfarlan, who lived in Westerpark. They had a daughter Katherine also born in Westerpark who was christened within a few weeks of Donald Mcfarlan born in Culigartan, this should seperate the two families. Donald was the son of John & Helen mcfarlan (Malcolm's parents).
Both farms were in Aberfoyle Parish. Westerpark is long gone, been absorbed by the QE forest, was just west of Cobleland. The only thing left is a bridge according to the Stirling Council Archaelogy.
Culligartan is still a farm, on the south shore of Loch Ard.
