Paul Trapier left Grenoble in Dauphiny in 1695 and settled in French
Santee near Eutaw Springs, South Carolina. He lived in the parish of St.
Stephens and St. Johns on a plantation called La Grande Fontaine.
Elizabeth DuGue was the daughter of Jaques DuGue who emigrated in 1690
and settled in the same area. In 1702, he was listed as living in Goose
Creek. Paul Trapier's will is in Charleston Wills book Vol 62B, page 668.
