Rev Hon Charles Douglas, of Earl's Gift, co. Tyrone, granted the style and precedence of the younger son of an Earl by Royal Warrant 1835, Rector of Donagheady (b. 10 Mar 1791; d. 28 Jan 1857), mar. (1) 2 Mar 1816 Lady Isabella Gore (d. 30 Nov 1838), 1st dau. of Arthur Saunders [Gore], 2nd Earl of Arran, by his third wife Elizabeth Underwood, dau. of Richard Underwood, and (2) 28 Dec 1852 Agnes Julie Rich (mar. (2) Oct 1862 Lt Col Wills Croft Gason, of Kilteelagh, co. Tipperary; d. 4 Nov 1916), 4th dau. of Capt John S Rich, of Woodlands, co. limerick, and had issue by his first wife
Anne Jane, eldest dau. of Rev. and Hon. Charles
Douglas, of Earl's Court, co. Tyrone (Mother not identified) ; she died
s.p. 10 Jan., 1868 (see Foster's Peerage, E.
Morton). She married 3 Jan., 1843, Surtees, Frederick Richard, arbitra-
tor to commission for slave trade suppression
