On July 13, 1919, in Tatums, Oklahoma, Alcardio was born in Lillie Mae Austin and Grady Douglass. His mother moved to Ardmore when he was still at an early age. He was reared and finished Douglass High School in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Two children were born to an early union, Ruth Carlyne and Alcardio, Jr. He later married Ruby Graves in 1947.
He joined the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. His employnebt career consist of a chef, at 'Bitter Sweet' and later for Sky Chef for 25 years when he retired due to his health.
He united with Gethsemane Baptist Church where he was a dedicated and loyal member.
He worked diligently in numerous Masonic auxiliaries.
He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Ruby; one daughter, Ruth C. Forbes, of Ardmore, Oklahoma and one son, Alcardio, Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Grady Douglas, of Lawton, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of friends.Family/Spouse: Unknown.
