Mrs. Mary Jane (Pullen) Reed, daughter of Dennis and Nancy Pullen wasborn Jan 2, 1832, in Union County, IN. Mary married Andrew J. Reed onMay 2, 1855 in Mercer County. She died at the home of her daughterKate Saunders, in New Boston at 7:15 o'clock Tuesday evening, Aug 22,1911. Mrs Reed while walking up the street was stricken withparalysis, fell and severely injured her head, She lived about threehours."
