Emliy Ann came to America on a sailing vessel in 1848.
In February 1863 in Nebraska, she married De Witt Clinton Young, who had been a government scout on the Oregon Trail.
They joined a wagon train and settled at Willows Ranch in Williamson Valley, Arizona in 1878.
Emily was well read for the time, and played the organ as well, which she taught each of her 10 children.Children:
