Notes:

Probably Charlotte Jane Elizabeth David, daughter of James and Susannah David. James was a carter in Jamestown, St Helena. But she appears to have been born 6th November 1841 (Indistinct baptism certifiacte. This conflicts with her being 19 at the time of her marriage. However, she was apparently 1lliterate - she made her mark on the marriage certificate, and so may also have not known her age.

Charlotte had a tbrother, William Henry David Both were baptised on 28th April 1844

Charlotte married James Douglass on 24 May 1863 in St Paul's Cathedral, St Helena. James was born about 1836; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
