    Notes:

    [Gerorge Minkler Desc.ged]

Fairfield lived with his son Bob for many years, before going into a nursing home. He used to walk from River St. in Winchendon, MA over to So. Royalston, MA where his other son Albert lived.

I remember he shared a large bedroom with a divider down the middle, with my brother Bruce. One night Bruce had our cousin Rodney stay overnight, and in the morning they decided to throw marbles over the divider, and whenever my grandfather yelled because he was hit, that person scored a point. Well let me tell you when dad got home for lunch, they got their butts kicked.

He was a wonderful man, I loved him very much. He died on Dec. 8th, my 13th birthday![Minckler/Champney & Baldwin/Royce]

Anna died while she still had 4 young children. From all reports she had a mean streak, but with being ill and having all those children who wouldn't be. She also had a child before she got married. Her mother raised that child.[Minckler/Champney & Baldwin/Royce]

    Notes:

    [Gerorge Minkler Desc.ged]

Calvin used to represent people in court, and from all accounts he was very good at it. However you did not want to cross him, as the story goes, he got mad at his neighbor and shot the important parts off the mans prize bull. Ouch!!

There is a copy of his birth record taken from "Births in the Town of Grand Isle for the year 1858"
Pages 34 and 35, located in the section of this book called "Pictures, letters, & documents".
