"Clifford and Kenny MacLean's wife, Eleanor Mason MacLean, proofread thebook, "Kirk in Glengarry" written by another cousin, Rev. Donald NeilMacMillan, wherein errors are made about our gtgt grandfather, DonaldCameron, killed March 1809, etc. Both Rev. Donald Neil and Clifford toldme they had relied upon Mr. Harkness' book on SDandG as 'research'material. Harkness' book should never be used for genealogical research!
Eleanor Mason, Kenny's wife, was from NIagara and was not familiar withthe MacMillan lines of descent. I remember when Kenny married Eleanor. My Grandmother MacLean lived across the street from their home. "
