  1. 1.  Mary Parsons (daughter of Sir William (1st Bt.) Parsons and Elizabeth Lany); and died.

    Family/Spouse: Arthur (of Hillsborough) Hill. Arthur (son of Peter (Provost Marshal Co Down) Hill and Daugher of Sorley Buie Macdonnel) died in Apr 1663. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  1. 2.  Sir William (1st Bt.) Parsons (son of William (of Norfolk) Parsons); died about 28 Feb 1650; was buried on 2 Mar 1650.

    Notes:

    He emigrated to Ireland, arriving on circa 1590 (possibly from Norfolk).
    He was Commissioner of Plantations and held the office of Surveyor-General [Ireland] in 1602. He and Sir Laurence Parsons were joint supervisor of Crown lands in 1611.
    He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle, County Dublin and later for County Wicklow
    He was created 1st Baronet Parsons [Ireland] on 10 November 1620.
    He was Lord Justice for Ireland when he was dismissed and imprisoned for suspected treason.
