  2. 3.  Elizabeth Anne (of Rendlesham) Spencer was born about 1720 (daughter of Edward (of Rendlesham) Spencer and Anne (Dame Anne Barker) Baker); died on 19 Apr 1798 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England; was buried on 22 Apr 1798 in St Gregory the Great Churchyard, Rendlesham, Suffolk, England.

    Notes:

    Elizabeth, her sister, married in 1739, Sir James Dashwood, of Kirtlington Park, in the county of Oxford, Bart., who died at her house in Grosvenor Square, London, April 19, 1798, in the 84th year of her age, and was buried at Rendlesham.

    "This stone us put down by the Duchess of Hamilton, in remembrance of DAME ANNE BARKER, the most affectionate of mothers, and the best of friends, who departed this life the 26th of Nov. 1764, aged 64.

    And beneath the same stone are deposited the remains of ELIZABETH relict of Sir James Dashwood, Bart. of Kirklington Park, in the county of Oxford, and daughter of the above Dame Anne Barker, who died April 19th 1798, aged 80"

    "On Saturday Morning last Sir James Dashwood, of Northbroke in Oxfordshire, Bart. was marryed at St. George's Chapel, Hyde-Park-Corner, to Miss Elizabeth Spencer, Daughter of the Lady Barker, of Suffolk, by her first Husband, - Spencer of Red-Lion-Square, Esq; and Sister to Her Grace the Dutchess of Hamilton, a very agreeable young lady of 70,000 l. Fortune."
