    Notes:

I've been trying to get some leads in obtaining info. on my great greatgrand-
father, Nathaniel MacLaren. The story is that he and his father andbrothers came to P.E.I. from Scotland. He and Sophia Conrad (b.1844,d.1928), had a son Nathaniel (b. 1866, d.1942), who was adopted bySophia's married sister
(Randall). Nathaniel MacLaren reportedly went back to Scotland, and diedin England. This is the only info. I have on him.

I have an extensive record of the Conrad family, dating back to NovaScotia and to Germany. Sophia later married Peter MacLeod (b.1845,d.1917), and
    they had several children.

I would love to learn more about the MacLaren line. Thank you for anyhelp you can give me.

They lived on a farm in Sturgeon and Nathaniel was a fisherman. Thefamily left P.E.I. for the U.S., settling in Massachusetts and RhodeIsland.
