Here lieth the body of Elizabeth Trail alias Read of Hollypark whodeparted this life 10 Jan 1818. And also near to this lies the remains ofher husband, the Revd. Archibald Hamilton Trail of Hollypark, Killinchy,who departed this life 16 Apr 1844 in the 89th year of his age.

Traills of Ballylough are still in residence. Tim is in Canada, Richardand June at Ballylough, And William Traill is at KeriKeri in New Zealand.Their grandmother put quite a bit of the family information together andthat was part of it, but they are the present senior descendents of thesenior branch of the Irish family. They are of course descended fromAnthony Traill, the Provost of Trinity and therefore descended from Jamesof Tullychin on the female side through his daughter Eleanor who marriedthe Rev.William Traill of Borthwick, the son of the Rev. Robert Traill ofGreyfriers, the brother of James Traill. You know of course that the maleside from James has died out I suppose. So the reference I would say isMrs William Stewart (Selina)Traill of Ballylough. She died in 1963.

Andrew married Helen Myrton about 1554. Helen was born about 1536; died on 13 Feb 1608 in St Andrews. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
