    Doug Hickling pointed out:

    "Lachlan Org's daughter Ann who married William (Sir) Munro of Foulis,who is commonly referred to as the12th Baron. MacLean-Bristol shows Annon his chart and cites, as authority for her marriage, an 18th Centurymanuscript at the National Library of Scotland. This marriage is also setforth in Mackenzie's HISTORY OF THE MUNROS OF FOWLIS, at page 33, whereshe is referred to as "Anne, second daughter of Lachlan Og Maclean ofDuart, by his wife, Catherine Campbell, younger daughter of Colin firstEarl of Argyl." Macfarlane's GENEALOGICAL COLLECTIONS relating to theMunros says that William "married Anna McLean Daughter To the Chief ofThe McLeans." Last, J. P. MacLean in his A HISTORY OF THE CLAN MACLEAN,says, at pp.49-50, that Lachlan Og, by his wife Catherine Campbell "hadAnne, who was married to Robert (Sir) Munro of Fowlis." "

    "A History of the Clan MacLean" by J.P. MacLean, page 48-49.
    ". . was lord of Duard and chief of MacLean during that eve
    when great political changes were about to take place in the
    Western Isles. . . " (John MacDonald , 4th Lord of the
    Isles, opposed the king's party. was summoned before
    parliament for treason, sued for pardon, restored to his
    forfeited estats on July 2, 1476). ."The seanachaids have
    recorded but very little of his life; but they declare him
    'to have been a good and pious man' Enough is recorded to
    show that he was possessed of rare judgment, and maintained
    a peaceful demeanor. He lived and died one of the most
    peaceful of his race."
