    Notes:

Stirnet Genealogy athttp://www.stirnet.com/HTML/genie/british/qr/redvers1.htm under"Richard de Redvers, 1st Earl of Devon, 'Earl of Exeter'" shows AdelizaFitzOsborne (dau of William FitzOsborne, Earl of Hereford) as his wifeand mother of his children. There is no mention of Adelise. The mainsource for Stirnet is Burke's Extinct Peerage,1883 (Courtenay of Devon)

However The Complete Peerage by G E Cokayne Voulme 2 (Vol IV appendix Ipage 761) "Peverel of Nottingham" shows the daughter of William Peverelof Nottingham's daughter Adelise married Richard de Reviers. However onpage 768 they note that in the record of a gift of a manor by Adelise, daughter of William Peverel the elder, widow of Richard de Reviers,Richard is not styled Earl, nor his wife a Countess.

Also "The Complete Peerage" by G E Cokayne, Voulme 2 (Vol IV,p309-311)(CP) under Devon shows "Richard de Reviers, Seigneur deReviers, Vernon, and Nehou, in Normandy. His parentage is unkown, but hehas been conjectured to have been the s. and h. of William de Vernon. InDomesday he appears as the possessor of a single manor, Mosterton inDorset. It has been erroneously considered that he was created Earl ofDevon by Henry I."..."There is however abundant charter evidence that henever styled himself Earl, that his wife in her widowhood never styledherself countess, and none of their children, nor their grandchildrenever so styled them." " He married Adelise, daughter of William Peverelof Nottingham the elder, by Adeline, his wife, He died 8 Sept 1107." CPsays his widow died May 27, 1156.

That book (CP) shows their son Baldwin as the 1st Earl. "By the Empresshe was created EARL OF DEVON, probably in 1141 and certainly beforeMidsummer in that year."

I get the impression the The Complete Peerage (first published 1916)tends to be more accurate than the older versions of Burke's.
