Kenneth (son of William (5th Earl of Seaforth) Mackenzie and Mary (of Coxhow) Kennet) was born in 1720 in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland; died on 18 Oct 1761 in Grosvenor Square, London, England; was buried on 22 Oct 1761 in South aisle of the nave of Westminster Abbey. 2. Maria Mackenzie was born after 1741; and died.
3. Agnes Ann Mackenzie was born after 1741; died in 1820.
4. Kenneth (1st & Last of Seaforth) Mackenzie was born in 1744; died in Aug 1781 in India.
5. Catherine Mackenzie was born on 30 Dec 1748; was christened in Saint Anne, Soho, Westminster, London; and died.
6. Frances Mackenzie was born about 1749; was christened on 18th January 1749 in London, England; and died.
7. Hon. Euphemia Mackenzie was born on 25 Jan 1750; was christened on 24 Feb 1750 in St James, Westminster, London, England; died on 14 Feb 1817 in Edinburgh, Scotland; was buried in Holyrood House Chapel, Edinburgh, Scotland.

An Outline History of the Drummonds:

In 1693 James II, after his deposition, created. him Marques of Drummondand
Duke of Perth (titles acknowledged and confirmed in 1701- by Louis XIV.of
France), and conferred upon him various high offices; James died in 1716;
superseded by his son (8) James who was styled '2nd Duke of Perth" andwho
having been attainted in 1716, could not succeed the Earldom of Perth;
superseded by his eldest son [9] James, "3rd Duke", wounded at Culloden:
(attainted 1746);
superseded by his brother [10) John , "4th Duke".. attainted 1746, died
without issue 1747;
superseded by his uncle [11] John. "5th Duke". died 1757;
superseded by his brother [12], Edward "6th Duke" died 1760 supposedly
without
issue, however:

"...James Drummond, the lineal descendent of John, Earl of Melfort, laidclaim and obtained a decreet of the court of Session, 8th March 1785,finding him to be the person who would have been entitled to succeed byinvestitures of the estate of Perth had it not been forfeited; andthereupon he obtained from the crown a grant of the estate of Perth. Thereason......was the appearance of a person in London who assumed the nameof John Drummond, and asserted that he was the son of Edward, stiled theDuke of Perth, and Elizabeth Middleton; but he could not substantiate hisdescent,"
