Frances.Sadly,Francis Snr. died in childbirth and Richard then married
Christianna Prideaux and they had seventeen children.1,Ethel Jane,

(Arthur), {{{7,Ada and 8,John Ernest(Ernie)"my grandfather", Twins}}},
9,Frederick(Fred), 10,Mary Jane(Janie), 11,Thomas Gilbert(Gil),
12,George, 13,Anne Prideaux(Annie), 14,Albert Booth(Al), 15,Charles
Percival(Percy), {{{16,Dora and 17,May,Twins}}}. Ethel Jane,Jane and
George died in infancy. Numbers 3,5,11,13,14,15 and 16 all emigrated to either
Canada or U.S.A. No.3, died in California,U.S.A. No.5,d. in Ontario,Canada.
No.7, d. in Toronto,Canada. No.11, d. in Indianna,U.S.A. No.13, d. in
Canada. No.14 Retired in Toronto (I think !!! ) but I do remember him and his
wife living in Portreath,Cornwall,U.K. in retirement. No. 15, d. in Toronto
and No.16, d, as a result of a motoring accident together with her
husband,Jimmy Jones,they lived in Texas,U.S.A. No.2, d. in Sussex,U.K. No's
6, 8, 9,10,14 and 17 died in Cornwall,U.K. No.2 had a daughter called Ruth
and she lives in Cornwall and is 94. No. 3, had a daughter called Meleta.
No.5, had 5 boys and 1 girl. No.6, had 3 boys and 1 girl. No.7,married (but no
knowledge of children,died aged 30. No.8, my grandfather had Donald
(unmarried), Mary, Enid and my mother, Phyllis. No.9, married,but no
children. No.10, married but no children. No.11, had 2 boys and 1 girl.
No.13, had 1 boy and 1 girl. No.14,married but no children. No.15, had 1 girl.
No.16, had 1 girl. No.17, had 2 boys and 2 girls. Frances died in 1962 in
Canada or U.S.A. aged 86,unmarried I think.This information has been told and
given to me over the last 50 years,I like to think that it is correct but I
cannot guarantee that it is.

"Joseph Champion was born in 1810, and was killed in a mine accident and so
was presumably a tin or coal miner.
His son Henry came to Australia with his bride about 1850, as far as is
known his siblings remained in Cornwall England.
The (?Cornwall) home of Joseph Champion is now a pile of stones on the
property of Gerald and John Champion. A dairy farm, the property was at one
time sold, leased and then repurchased by James Champion, father of Gerald and
John. The Champions have been associated with the property for nearly200
years. It appears that Gerald and John are direct descendants of Joseph Champion.
There is also a sister, Mavis Champion, address Upper Bolitho, Cranbourne
(sic) Cornwall"
