"The Prose Edda shows the names of other Sons who became the Kings ofDenmark, Sweden and Norway, but I can't find analogues for these in theAnglo Saxon Chronicles. They are Skj?ldr od Denmark, Saemingr of Norwayand Yngvi of Sweden." Stirnet Genealogies shows two possible lines of ancesors for Woden, so Ihave shown what that site calls the "arguably less widely-accepted" lineas starting with his "mother" (although Harbod King of Saxons wasclearly not the wife of Frithuwald).

Woden (or Odin or Bodo), King of Saxons (b 215, d 300) -
"An interesting (but arguably less widely-accepted) alternative accountof Woden's ancestry is given in 'Saxons01'. It identifies his wife asFrea and shows other of his children. " (See below)

"Royal Genealogies. The genealogical tales of emperors, kings and princesfrom Adam to these times." by James Anderson, 1736.
This is probably a very rare book. It was found by chance, hidden in apublic library, and enabled me to extend the database 'properly' intoContinental Europe. I won't say which library I found it in as itshouldn't be handled too much. Not all of its content is viewed as fullyreliable (this is where I found my first descent from Adam and Eve) butmuch has since been supported by other sources such as the 'Genealogy.EU'web site referred to below.'

www.mathematical.com "* 'MATHS' or 'Mathematical' - for an impressivesite by Charles Dean Druit in which his family tree is only one ofseveral interests shown (and is rather hidden at present). For access tothe genealogical data it is best to use our link to the master index, which is still being developed, and bookmark any relevant pages. Thedatabase provides some connections not easily found elsewhere, andtherefore may not always be fully reliable, but it is no different frommost other databases in that respect and is certainly better than most."
